This piece was inspired by an incident involving my own little dachshund and an unfortunate squirrel (I'm pleased to say the squirrel survived). Veronica is a nature lover and despite the damage squirrels do to the trees she doesn't want the death of one on her conscience.
 
This flowery painting has been composed on a 16 x 16 inch stretched canvas with acrylic paints and sealed with satin varnish.
