I love how ideas develop and as I've been embracing the collage practice I've realised I don't like too much going on so I've started to contain certain areas for collage which then seem pop against a solid block of colour.
 
Happy Feet is a large piece painted on a lovely deep edge stretched W24 x H36inch canvas, I have used collage, acrylic paints, crayon and gel medium then sealed it witha satin varnish. To add interest and vibrancy I've painted the edges in a bold hot pink.
 
This painting is ready to hang and being a deep edge canvas it does not need framing.
 
What could be more fun than a happy bear atop a multicoloured feast for the eyes hillock?
