When I created this bear painting I wanted him to be in amongst the trees in his natural surroundings but I didn't want to paint trees so I decided to experiment with collage and a gelli plate, I've been an admirer of abstract paintings for years and this gave me a chance to have a play and I must say I really enjoyed it!
 
My Neck Of The Woods has been painted on a stretched canvas measuring just under H24 x 18inches, I've used acrylic paints, tissue paper and gloss medium then sealed it all with satin varnish.
 
He is ready to hang or you could take him to your local framer and find a grand frame for him!
