This colourful painting is part of a series featuring my John Lewis mug, it captures that moment on a quiet afternoon when the budgies are let out to stretch their wings and move in closer to cast their beady eyes over the day's offerings. 
I loved painting this piece, I've used acrylic paint along with inks and pastels, I've sanded and scraped the surface of this 18 x 24 inch cradled wooden panel and sealed it all with satin varnish.
It is ready to hang or can be framed to suit your tastes.
